The Best Year of My Life, pt 4 Pretty lights and not so cozy nights

Little America had their beautiful Christmas lights up so we had to frolic through the snow and see them all :)

That night, we finished up our evening by baking a Papa Murphey's pizza and enjoying it by the firelight.

Let me tell you about the rest of our evening. It was so romantic... or not really. We were so tired we crashed. A couple hours later I ended up moving to the couch because it was much more comfortable than the awful hotel bed. I didn't even get to cuddle up to my husband on our anniversary :( I got 3 hours of sleep and thought it was fantastic. We both woke up around 6 am and decided it would be better to just pack up, drive home and sleep. So we did! I was slightly worried that the roads would be frozen that early but they weren't! The roads were clear and we made great time. We crashed in our oh so comfortable, heavenly bed. Somehow we still even made it to church early! Go us :)

Whew! That's all folks! That's finally the end of our Anniversary weekend. It was so much fun for us. It was fantastic to have 1 more couple's get away before our baby comes. 

I love my husband so very much and I'm grateful we can be together forever! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary and year and life and everything!!!

The Best Year of My Life, pt 3 Snow!!

We found an amazing snow area right across from our hotel! So we made snow people and angels and had a fantastic time! We thoroughly froze but we laughed our heads off while doing so :)

This was such an amazing park! The frozen over lake was gorgeous and the geese just added to the neat ambiance.
We know there had been deer there earlier that day because Jeff was lucky enough to step in their droppings. He made yellow snow every step he took after that... eeewwww gross! ha ha

The Best Year of My Life, pt 2

In Flagstaff it was so icy and there was quite a bit of snow still. Jeff took some cool pictures of the ice crystals on our car...

While in Flag, we went and saw Disney's Tangled. It was surprisingly good! We both thoroughly enjoyed it and the music was fantastic!

Jeff almost lost his sunglasses, but after 20 minutes or so of searching, he finally found them.

Yay for not losing another pair of sun glasses!

For lunch on Saturday we ate at Cracker Barrel. It was my first time eating there. It had pretty good food but I'd have to say my company made it the best lunch  :) I just love going out with my husband.

The Best Year of My Life, pt1

I have been married to the most amazing man for over 1 year now! Can you believe how fast time flies??!?!

We started out our anniversary celebrations by going to the temple. It is so beautiful. It was nice to hear the same words we heard when we were married. It just gives us an added drive to be good and keep God's commandments because we sure as heck want the blessings promised there!

Of course some things have changed in the last year we've been married... like my waist size!

Just a little bigger no? haha

Of course we couldn't let a special occasion pass us by without going to Nielsens. MMmmmm it's so good!

Then we drove up to Flagstaff for the weekend. We had brought lots of talks on CD and such to listen to but we didn't listen to 1! We talked and talked and laughed the whole way there. It's amazing how we never seem to run out of things to say.
