I didn't go to my singles ward for over a month because of being out of town on the weekends and such. But this past Sunday it all caught up with me. First of all, I was asked to meet with a member of the Bishopric to get a calling. I went in expecting a council member calling because that's typically what they give to new ward members and I am definitely a new member. However, that was not the case. They called me to be the secretary in the Relief Society presidency! Haha, I just can't seem to get away from it. I guess now I'll get to know the girls in the ward really fast! They also told me I'd be teaching Relief Society next Fast Sunday.
Then I get asked to give a talk in Sacrament meeting next Sunday! Wow! Let's just pile it all on at once.
But really though, I'm happy to serve and I'm so excited about my new calling. We have an awesome presidency and I can't wait to get to know the sisters in my ward and to feel like an integral part of this ward.

that happened to us when we moved her too! new calling and talks the same day. I guess they know how cool you are and that you totally can handle it. Good luck!
