Recently I canned some beautiful Utah peaches. Here are a few lessons I learned:
#1 Canning is definitely not as fun when you don't have your mom
#2 Canning alone isn't very easy
#3 Canning alone with a baby on your hip because he doesn't want to be set down is CRAZY
which leads to the final one:
#4 I am crazy

I'm impressed! The only time I have canned is helping my mom can. I can't imagine doing it with a baby on you hip:)
Yeah! Go Liz! I wish I could get fruit here cheeper so that I can do the same. Did mom help? They look like her countertops… :)
mmm, this makes me want home canned jam!
Jen, I did can at Mom's house but they were out of town. I really did do it all by myself!...With Scotty :)
